PT -> FT Home Assistant / Household Manager

🕒 Schedule: 30-40 hours per week (PT -> Full-Time)

💵 Compensation: Part Time @ $20-$24/hour or full time (40+ hours/week) @ $40,000–$45,000 annually (based on experience)

We are a busy family with seven children and two business-owner parents. Our home life is lively, and pretty fast-paced, and we’re seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and caring Home Assistant to provide consistent support in managing the household and family routines.

Role Overview

The Home Assistant / Household Manager will play an essential role in helping our household run smoothly. This is not a live-in position, but it is a full-time role requiring commitment, flexibility, and a love for working with children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily household management (laundry, dishes, organization, meal prep support, light housekeeping).

  • Help oversee children’s schedules, activities, and routines; provide backup childcare when needed (infant through pre-teen).

  • School pickups, drop-offs, and activity transport (as needed).

  • Run errands (groceries, pharmacy, etc.).

  • Maintain household organization (playrooms, closets, pantry, etc.).

  • Support with family scheduling (appointments, extracurricular activities).

  • Assist with family events, birthdays, and gatherings.

  • Occasional travel with the family to support during business trips (domestic, including CA and other states).

  • Overnight stays during travel or if parents are away.

Requirements

  • Experience working with younger children (infants through school age).

  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain – training covered by us).

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

  • Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual.

  • Female applicants only.

  • This role is not a good fit for candidates with children of their own (due to the full-time nature and occasional travel).

  • Willing to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a nanny, household manager, teacher, or caregiver.

  • Ability to prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks.

  • Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends with notice.

  • Comfortable with pets (if applicable).

  • Positive, nurturing, and energetic personality.
